Truth: Doctrine of the Hypostatic Union

Doctrine means “teaching.” This doctrine is an essential Truth to understand the awesomeness of Jesus Christ. Do not pass go, collect 200 dollars or leave your seat until you understand this very important Truth!

1)    Definition- At the Virgin Birth of Christ, deity and humanity were inseparably united without mixture or loss of identity, without loss or transfer of properties or attributes- the union being personal and eternal. There is a danger to grace giving.  Grace giving is a response from a grateful heart to the Lord for all He is and all He has done.  It is a person who recognizes the things on earth do not matter compared to the spiritual issues of life and gives the first portion of what he earns not because he has to, because he wants to with a cheerful heart. There is a danger of believing “Once saved, always saved.” Some teach that it is not a biblical doctrine.
