The ministry philosophy of home groups is built on four ingredients: Biblical Foundation, Relational Environment, Intentional Discipleship and Reproducible Process. Home groups may multiply if there are both a Biblical Foundation and a Relational Environment, but they multiply best when there is Intentional Discipleship. SGL: Dealing with Anger Expressions

Home group is normally a relaxing place for affirming spiritual growth in followers of Christ. People are there because they want to be there and grow with other like-minded followers of Christ. However, each person is at a different stage of growth and every once in a while, God is going to allow the leader and the whole group to experience the angry outburst or seething anger bubbling over. Home groups are great, because they allow people to ask questions.  A home group is the informal place where there can be a good question and answer time.  New leaders may not appreciate this time, but questions cause both leaders and participants to grow.
